Gifts delivered to Head Start
On Friday, December 16th, Pat and Vivian
Heading, George Fryburg and Peggy Snyder delivered approximately 120
gifts from our club to the Head Start Program.
Pat reports: “We helped pass out gifts on a per class basis and
took plenty of pictures. It was a heartwarming experience with All together we received $570.00 for gifts. Vivian purchased about 36 gifts and spent $405.00. I presented a check to the manager for $165.00 to be used for classroom supplies."
Thanks to Pat, Vivian, George and Peggy for
representing our club and touching the hearts of the children at
Head Start. Thanks to all our membership for their generosity
and kindness. There were many special moments at Head Start on
Friday, felt by adult and child alike. Magical moments are rare,
wonderful and remembered. Be sure to ask Pat, Vivian, George
and Peggy for some stories.
